Principal's Welcome to Blue Mountain Middle School

Blue Mountain Middle School serves approximately 650 students whose diverse
backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives enrich our community each day. We
are committed to providing a rigorous and supportive learning environment — one
that challenges students academically while nurturing their social, emotional, and
                                    personal development.

Our faculty and staff hold high expectations for every student and provide the
guidance and support necessary to meet them. We believe that meaningful
challenge, paired with genuine encouragement, prepares students not only for
academic success but for the demands of an ever-changing world. Beyond the classroom, a broad range of athletic, academic, and extracurricular programs offers students the opportunity to discover new interests, develop leadership, and build lasting connections.

If I could offer one piece of advice to every student, it would be this: Get involved. Middle school is a time of discovery. Join a club, participate in a sport or activity, attend school events, and challenge yourself to try something new. The habits and relationships you build now will serve you well beyond these years.

It is a privilege to serve as Principal of Blue Mountain Middle School. I look forward to partnering with our students, families, and staff to make this a year defined by learning, growth, and shared success.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. I welcome the opportunity to connect.

EAGLE STAR
On a monthly basis, the sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students and staff have the opportunity to nominate students for our “Shout Out Board” for the television in the cafeteria.  Students that are nominated consistently display good citizenship and have a good attitude toward school (be punctual, complete homework assignments, participate in class and be courteous).  Recipients are awarded with a certificate and their name on the television in the cafeteria.  Additionally, these students will enter a monthly raffle to win an Eagle Star t-shirt and be eligible for additional prizes.  Please fill out the Google Form to nominate an Eagle Star today!
