My name is Mr. Gombar, and I am both honored and excited to join this
                                       incredible community of students, educators, families, and staff as Principal.
 
                                       First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the warm
                                       welcome I have already received. It is clear that Blue Mountain Elementary
                                       West is a place where students are valued, families are engaged, and
                                       educators are deeply committed to helping every child succeed. I feel truly
                                       fortunate to be part of this outstanding school community.
 
I'd like to share a little about myself. I began my career in the Tamaqua Area School District, where I taught fifth grade for nine years and spent two years as a special education teacher. I then transitioned into school leadership as the Assistant Principal at Blue Mountain Middle School, where I proudly served for the past ten years. Those experiences have strengthened my belief that strong relationships, high expectations, and a supportive school culture provide the foundation for student success.
 
As principal, I look forward to building upon Blue Mountain Elementary West's tradition of academic excellence, creativity, and student-centered learning. I am committed to fostering a welcoming environment where every child feels safe, respected, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. By working together, we can continue to create meaningful learning experiences that prepare our students for success both inside and outside the classroom.
 
I am excited to get to know our students and families throughout the school year. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or simply want to introduce yourself. My door—and my inbox—are always open, and I value the strong partnership between home and school.
