BMMS Assistant Principal – The candidate must have strong communication skills, ability to address student disciplinary and attendance issues, ability to coordinate building and student safety, and the ability to coordinate daily activities. Chief of Safety and Security – The District is seeking an administrator responsible for overseeing a safe and secure school environment. This individual will work with district administration to recruit, hire, and supervise security personnel and ensure that the personnel meet all applicable certification and training requirements. The successful candidate for this position will have Act 120 or 235 certification or be eligible to secure such certification as a requirement of the position. Additionally, the Chief of Safety and Security will be required to complete all legally required tasks for School District Safety and Security Coordinators in Pennsylvania. The Chief of Safety and Security will be required to record and maintain all necessary safety and security information for the district to complete all reports to the state as required by school law. The Chief of Safety and Security will lead the School Safety Committee, including the Safe-to-Say program, and will serve as the district’s liaison with all law enforcement and security agencies. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with training and/or experience. This is a 10-month position (mid-August through mid-June) and salary and benefits will be regionally competitive.
