Greetings from the guidance department!

I’m Stephen Freeman and I am honored to be your child’s elementary school guidance counselor. My responsibilities include conducting individual and group counseling sessions, facilitating classroom discussions pertaining to character development, drug/alcohol awareness, positive social interactions and conflict resolution.

As an elementary school counselor, I work closely with the students, teaching staff, parents/guardians and a variety of specialists. I also coordinate the Child Study Team meetings for our school. Through the Child Study Team process, we work together to provide additional support and early detection of academic and/or behavioral difficulties that your child may be experiencing.

The guidance department also coordinates standardized testing to include the administration of the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) and the 4-Sight reading/math benchmarks assessment in third, fourth and fifth grades.
