Pool Policies

  • Swim Aids

    • Coast Guard Approved Life Jackets ONLY swim aids allowed for use at the Blue Mt. Recreation Commission operated pools.
      • We do have Life Jackets available at our pools.
      • These may be used in the shallow water only!
      • Person using swim aid must be one-on-one with a responsible adult in the water!

  • Attention Parents of Infants & Toddlers: Diaper Policy

    • Disposable SWIM Diapers AND either vinyl/plastic pants or swim diaper cover (with tight fitting waist & legs) MUST be worn at the pools.
      • This includes SWIM LESSONS as well!
    • Regular disposable diapers or cloth diapers are NO LONGER PERMITTED!
    • Diaper dependent individuals who are not wearing both items listed above will NOT be allowed in the water at either pool.

CRESSONA POOL – OPENING on June 2, 2013 – August 25, 2013

POOL HOURS: Monday – Saturday:  12:30-7:00pm

Sunday:  1:00 – 7:00pm

CRESSONA POOL INFORMATION/POOL PASS FORMS

*You can print off and mail in form with payment, however, with the form you MUST have proof of residency(ie. copy of driver’s license).  Passes will be available for pick up, with ID, at our Office or at the Pool, during hours of operation.

PREVIOUS PASS HOLDERS: When mailing your forms in, if you are in our system(2012 Pool Pass) then we will have your records, and you do NOT have to send in proof of residency, please call office to verify. If not, we must have some proof of residency to verify your information!

Everyone is required to read the rules, CDC brochure, and Pass Information before sending in the forms!

 Summer Hours:  June 2nd – August 25, 2013
5:00pm – 8:00 pm Tuesdays & Thursdays – Open Swim
8:00pm – 9:00 pm Tuesdays & Thursdays (Lap Swim ONLY)
3:00pm – 8:00 pm Sunday – Open Swim

Pool Rentals

Interested in having a pool party?  We have two pools available for parties and other rentals.  Call the Rec Office for more details. All parties must be booked in advance.

Cressona Pool

  • Rates are based on group size and residency in Blue Mt. School District.
  • Cressona wading pool included!
  • Cressona Pool is only available for rent in the SUMMER!

Middle School Pool

  • Minimum age for party rentals is 7 years old!
  • We offer two options for rentals: private and open swim rentals.

PRIVATE RENTAL

  • Fridays are private rentals.
  • Times are either 6-8 PM or 7-9 PM.
    • Times may vary in Summer
  • Rates vary on several factors
    • Blue Mountain School District Resident or Non-Resident
    • Group size
  • There is a $30 non-refundable deposit.

OPEN SWIM RENTAL

  • Saturdays and Sundays are open swim rentals.
  • Times are 1-4 PM.
    • Times may vary in Summer
  • Rate is a non-refundable deposit of $30 plus the cost of each participants daily admission fee.
  • Maximum group size is 25 total.
