Session 1 – Evening

• Starts:   May 22nd – June 26th (Mon & Wed evenings)
• Classes Available:  Infants & Tots (ages 6-42 months), Guppies, Pre-Beginner (3-5 years), LIMITED Red Cross Levels, Adult – If registration warrants.
• Registration Dates:  Thursday, May 16th from 4:30pm – 6:00pm OR Friday, May 17th 10:00am – 11:30am, First Come First Serve.

Session 1 – Morning

• Starts:  June 10th – 25th (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur mornings)
• Classes Available:  Pre-Beginner (3-5 years), Red Cross Levels 1-6 (6 years & over)
• Registration Dates:  Thursday, May 16th from 4:30pm – 6:00pm OR Friday, May 17th 10:00am – 11:30am-First Come First Serve.

Junior Lifeguarding class is scheduled to start June 24th.

Summer Art Program-3 Different Classes, please see below:

1-Day “Warhol” Screen-printing class will be held on June 17th from 6— 8 p.m. at the M. S. Cafeteria.   Students entering grades 4 & 5 in fall of ’13 are eligible to attend.   Students should bring a white or pastel t-shirt (pre-washed) or canvas bag (or both) to screen print.

1-Day “Jackson Pollock” splatter-painting class will be held on June 18th from 6— 8 p.m. at the M. S. Cafeteria.   Students entering grades 4 & 5 in fall of ’13 are eligible to attend.   Students should come ready to get messy!!  This class combines art history with art making!

2-Day “Mural Making” class will be held June 24th & 25th from 5:30—7:00 p.m. at the M.S. Cafeteria.  Students will participate in “Keith Herring” style Murals.   Participants will create a project to bring home as well as a large mural to hang in the school.   This 2 day class is open to students who will be entering 2nd & 3rd grades in the fall.

Days:  Monday – Friday
Duration:  8 Weeks
Age:  Children 7-15 years old

2013 Registration Process
Register in person at the Recreation Office between May 6th and June 5th and receive an EARLY REGISTRATION DISCOUNT!!!!  Register on site for the regular rate.
No registration will be accepted on June 6th or 7th.
June 10th begins on-site registration.

*Wayne Twp. Residents – PLEASE NOTE:  Due to a probable summer construction schedule, the BME-West building will NOT be offered as a playground site this year.  Three (3) alternative sites in Wayne Township have been chosen as potential sites.  Early registration numbers (by 5/20/13) will determine which sites will be opened for the program this season.

**New Ringgold Residents – PLEASE NOTE:  The New Ringgold site will be opened ONLY if Early Season registration indicates enough participants to hold a quality program.  If enough participants are not registered by Noon on May 20, 2013 those who have registered for New Ringgold will be given the choice to move to a different site or have their fees refunded.

Still time to get your Cressona Pool Season Passes at a discounted rate! 

Both the Cressona and Middle School Pools are scheduled to open on Sunday, June 2nd and will remain open until Sunday, August 25, 2013.

Cressona Pool Discounted Season Passes can be purchased at the Recreation Office from May 1st to May 31st.  After May 31st passes will be available at the Recreation Office at the Regular Season Rate!
