Student Absences
Parents are asked to please telephone the Middle School Office to report your child's absence by 8:00 a.m. on the day of absence. Please call the absentee line even if your child is going to be late arriving to school due to an appointment. If you do not contact the the Middle School Office, a secretary will telephone your home to verify your child's absence.
Your child must bring a written note or excuse card into their homeroom teacher when he/she returns to school. If a written note or an excuse card is not given to the homeroom teacher by the 3rd day after returning to school, that absence will be unexcused.
If a child is late to school or leaving early, please make sure they sign in/out in the office and have a note explaining their reason for being tardy or leaving early.
