  1. Hunter William Renninger Memorial Scholarship – one scholarship to a Blue Mountain High School Senior who has demonstrated profound respect for their school and local community as well as fostered the development of similar attributes in others.  500 word essay from three choices, 2 letters of recommendation, and one page essay on your future goals and aspirations.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office.  Deadline: April 1, 2013
  2. Rhoades Foundation Scholarship – Three $2,000 scholarships to senior student from Schuylkill County who demonstrate a commitment to education, citizenship and/or community.  250 word essay required.  Applications available in the Guidance Office.  Deadline: April 1, 2013
  3. John Rich Curran Memorial Scholarship – Eligible students must have an Individualized Education Program (IEP), a B or better average, demonstrated a commitment to community service/leadership outside the classroom and have financial need. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.  Deadline: April 1, 2013
  4. Schuylkill Haven Lions Healthcare Scholarship – Eligible students will be from Blue Mountain or Sch. Haven High School and be volunteers of the Sch. Haven Area EMS or plan on attending institutions of high education majoring in healthcare related fields.  Letters of recommendation and personal essay required.  Applications can be picked up in the Guidance Office.  Deadline: May 1, 2013
  5. Cepheus Memorial Scholarship – Awarded to a high school senior in Schuylkill County that has been in the Schuylkill County Foster Care System for at least one year.  Three letters of recommendation and personal essay required.  Applications can be picked up in the Guidance Office  Deadline: April 1, 2013
  6. Mid Penn Bank Anna Woodside Scholarship – Two $1,000 scholarships to seniors in Cumberland, Dauphin, Northumberland or Schuylkill Counties.  Applicants must prove dedication to achieving educational goals, future career goals and serving the community. Essay required.  Applications can be accessed at www.midpennbank.com  Deadline: Must be postmarked by March 15, 2013
  7. McCann School of Business and Technology Scholarship – Pottsville Campus is offering three scholarships equal to 25% of the tuition and one scholarship of 50% of the tuition to any Specialized Associate Degree Program.  Dates of Scholarship Testing are February 9th, March 9th and April 20th.  200 word essay also required.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office.
  8. Best Buy Scholarship – Students in grades 9-12 who demonstrate good grades, commitment to community service and/or work experience are eligible to apply.  1,100 scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded.  Apply on-line at http://pr.bby.com  Deadline: February 15, 2013
  9. AES Engineers Scholarship – Based on character as determined by evaluation of essay that is submitted.  Essay topics can be found on the website: http://www.aesengineers.com/scholarships.htm  Amount of award $500.  Deadline; October 4, 2013.
  10. Buick Achievers Scholarship Program – For seniors who plan to major in a field focusing on engineering, technology, design or business, with an interest in the automotive industry.  Awards up to $25,000 a year.  Visit www.buickachievers.com for application details.  Deadline:  February 28, 2013
