The Advanced Placement Program provides high school students with the opportunity to pursue college-level studies and to receive credit and/or advanced placement in college
on the basis of their performance on rigorous AP examinations. Policy on the acceptance of advanced placement exam scores varies among post-secondary institutions. This program is offered through the College Board. AP examinations are administered at Blue Mountain High School during designated dates and times in the month of May. The guidance department coordinates and administers the AP exams. Students enrolled in AP courses will receive information from the guidance department with details to register for AP exams at student expense if interested.
