Letter from the Assistant Principal
Welcome to Blue Mountain Elementary East (BMEE), a vibrant community of learners with approximately 720 students and 50 talented and enthusiastic teachers. We continue to focus on a firm commitment to our children and to a home-school partnership dedicated to meeting the educational, social and emotional needs of each child. While recognizing that learning is a process that takes time, our teachers strive to offer authentic, challenging and collaborative educational experiences for all students that are based on the Pennsylvania State Academic Standards. With an emphasis on caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, our classrooms are places of learning and of enjoyment.
The education of children entails a dynamic fellowship among students, parents, and teachers. I invite you to be an active partner in your child’s learning experience. Children are enthusiastic, confident and successful when adults encourage and support their talents and efforts. I also invite you to become actively involved in our local BMEE Parent Teacher Organization. They support our students by offering a variety of services and activities.
Please reach out to your child’s teacher or me with any suggestions or questions about our attendance, curriculum, discipline or special programs. Working together, we can provide your child with wonderful learning opportunities that will positively impact his/her future.
Mrs. Deneen L. Reese, Assistant Principal
