ES:Letter From Assistant Principal

Dear Parents, Students, and Friends:

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as your new Interim Assistant Principal at Blue Mountain Elementary East.  A Schuylkill County native myself, I am familiar with the morals and values held dear to this close-knit community.  I am a graduate of Millersville University, where I attained a bachelor’s degree in both Special and Elementary Education. I hold a graduate degree in Educational Leadership with Principal Certification from Alvernia University. I have also attained my Special Education Supervisory Certificate.

My goal is to maintain a positive learning environment where all students feel safe and have the resources they need to be successful. I welcome parent involvement and look forward to meeting each of you as the year progresses.  Communication is the key to developing working relationships with teachers, parents, and the community as a whole. Together we can promote education and produce self-sufficient, contributing, lifelong learners.   I am always available to speak with you by phone, or in person.  Please feel free to contact me at the school office- (570) 366-1065 or by email:

HONESTY, RESPECT, and RESPONSIBILITY defines the “The Eagle Way” here at Blue Mountain. You can be assured that I will uphold these values personally, as your new interim assistant principal. Thank you for your time and your continued support.
