  1. Society of Women Engineers (Lehigh Valley Section)- Scholarships of up to $5,000 will be awarded to women graduating from area high schools.  Based on academic achievement, extracurricular and leadership activities, recommendations and an essay.  Applications can be accessed at http://lv.swe.org/scholarships.html  Deadline: February 11, 2018.
  2. American Legion Eagle Scout of the Year Award – $10,000 scholarship awarded to the Eagle Scout selected as the American Legion Eagle Scout of the Year.  Three runner ups receive $2,500 each.  Visit: www.legion.org/scholarships/eaglescout  Deadline: March 1, 2018.
  3. PA Masonic Youth Foundation Scholarships – Basic eligibility; must be a child, step-child, grandchild, step-grandchild, sibling or dependent of a member in good standing of a Pennsylvania Masonic Lodge (or who was in good standing at the time of his death), and have a minimum GPA and demonstrate financial need. Visit: www.pmyf.org/scholarships , select Scholarship Resource Guide (at bottom of page) to get a complete list of all scholarships.  The applications can also be accessed at this website. Deadlines vary by scholarship.
  4. Aspiring Fashion Professional Scholarship – A $1,000 scholarship awarded to students interested in pursuing a fashion degree (fashion marketing, design, merchandising, management or retailing) at an accredited post-secondary institution. Visit:  http://www.fashion-schools.org/  and find the scholarship located at the bottom right of the page.  Deadline:  June 1, 2018.
  5. Aspiring Animation Professional Scholarship – $1,000 scholarship to students interested in pursuing an animation career path (digital art, graphic design, film, game animation, game development, illustration, computer animation, studio art, web design, etc.) at an accredited post-secondary institution.  Visit:   animationcareerreview.com.  Select the scholarship on the right side of the page.  Deadline:  June 1, 2018.
  6. Schuylkill Keep It Pretty (SKIP) – Annual $1,000 award to a county student. Visit:  skiplitter.org for details.  Select “Forms and Newsletter” at top of page, then select “Dr. Crosswell Scholarship at center of page.  Deadline:  January 10, 2018..
  7. Big Sun Scholarship – Open to student athletes regardless of sport. Students must submit a short essay (500-1000 words) on the following:  How did your participation in sports during your high school years influence you? Has your participation influenced your career goals? Has your participation influenced how you relate to your family? Award amount – $500.  Deadline: June 19, 2018.  Visit: http://www.bigsunathletics.com to apply.
  8. College Week Live Scholarship – Simply use the College Week Live Software to visit 5 college websites and be entered to win a $1,000 scholarship. Visit: collegeweeklive.com, select “find scholarships’ at the bottom of the page, then select “$1000 Monthly Scholarship.
  9. Christian Connector Scholarship – Sign up to receive information about Christian Universities and automatically be entered to win a $2,500 scholarship. Students must plan on attending a Christ Centered Christian or Bible College.  Runs June 1, 2017 through May 31, 2018.  Visit: christianconnector.com
  10. 2018 Road to Safety Scholarship Contest for High School Students – Open to graduating seniors in Pennsylvania. Seniors may enter the contest by submitting a creative project that highlights the dangers of distracted driving and/or drunk driving.  First place $1,000, second place $750 and third place $500.  Visit: arrivealivepa.com.  Deadline is April 27, 2018.
  11. Ag Scholarship (America’s Farmers Grow Ag) – For students in rural communities who are looking to continue their education in an ag-related field of study and become the next generation of ag leaders. Go to GrowAgLeaders.com for more information and official rules and apply at FFA.org/scholarships.  Application deadline February 1, 2018.
